For MIT's D-Lab Development class, my team and I worked with non-profits and residents of the Rhino Refugee Camp in Northern Uganda on a project to equip residents with DIY radios to increase their access to information.
During this one semester in a continuing project, my team and I put together a graphically legible manual for building one's own radios. My team and I learned to solder and put them together ourselves first, and then improved the Elenco manual to be more legible to a layperson.
